She sees herbs as a gentle help and support to increase the body’s own capacity to heal itself. Nathalie works with people of all ages to find solutions to their health problems, including skin problems such as psoriasis & eczema, digestive problems, including IBS & bloating, women problems, including painful periods, hot flushes, the menopause, infertility and immunity & stress problems. If required, she uses some craniosacral techinics as those beautifully complement the use of herbs for healing. Nathalie believes that you can never learn too much about the human body and she is therefore comitted to a Programme of Continuing Development (CPD)in Herbal Medciine and Craniosacral Therapy which in turn benefits her patients. Nathalie currently works as a practitioner at Meadowbank Clinic in Edinburgh and New Park Medical Practice in Dunfermline, Fife. In her practice Nathalie supports the protection of endangered plant species. She is very interested in using our own indegineous plants to help and treat. Another of Nathalie's key interests lies in ethnomedica (researching & maintaining the Herbal traditions of Britain & Europe). She won the Nigel Wynn Award in 2006 for the best innovative Project. Recently this interest of ethnomedicine has led her to learn more about the traditional herbal remedies used in Morocco. If you know of a remedy that may have been forgotten, please visit: www.kew.org/ethnomedica or contact Nathalie directly.. As you can probably gather from her surname, Nathalie is French and she has lived in the UK for 13 years now, most of which in Scotland.
